Educational-methodical set of «English» for 8th grade educational institutions is part of a series of teaching AIDS (teaching materials) English language for 2-11 grades of educational institutions. This line of UMK is based on the modern scientific concept of communicative foreign language education «Development of individuality in the dialogue of cultures»1.
UMK «English» for grade 8 was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Federal state educational standard (GEF) of basic General education2 and Sample programs for grades 5-9 in a foreign language. The content of the UMK «English» for grade 8 is also correlated with the basic curriculum.
To help the teacher developed a work programme3 for teaching English in primary school on this line UMK. The program is addressed to General education organizations, where English language training in grades 5-9 in accordance with the basic curriculum is given 3 hours a week.
